About Brian Amoah

Brian Amoah is an entrepreneur and author based in Naperville, Illinois.

He is the founder of Amova Health, a licensed non-medical in-home care company serving families in DuPage, Will, and Kendall counties. His work there — helping older adults stay safely in their own homes — shapes most of what he writes about.

He is the author of Age Well: A Field Guide to Thriving in Every Season of Life, and has published translations of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey. He also runs LifePatch Labs, a digital education venture.

On this site he writes essays, reviews movies, keeps a running list of the musicians who matter to him, and collects interesting things.
